The last few days have been disappointing in terms of world and British politics. Once again, Dubya managed not to surprise ANYONE at the G8. Seems thursdays events took the heat off his sorry ass. Holl, I've tried to like him, I just can't. If it helps any, I'm not entirely happy with the situation here either, but I think you knew that. People are having to deal with the the idea that the bombers on Thursday were suicide bombers. And they were born in Britain. This is shocking a lot of people and it's taking some dealing with. The good news is that the police and intelligence forces here are moving astoundingly quickly to source and find out about last Thursdays attacks. That is incredibly impressive.

My husband of now nine years is watching far too much Toonami. I may have to do something about this.
